General

What is Codex?
Codex is an independent digital trust layer that generates a timestamped proof that can be publicly verified, without ever storing your files.

Does Codex use artificial intelligence?
No. No AI is involved in generating the proof. The process is fully technical and deterministic.

Do I need an account?
No. You can create a proof instantly, without an account.
An account is only useful for professional use (history, volume, management).

How it works

What file types are supported?
Photos, documents (PDF, DOCX…) and videos. Limits may vary depending on the file type.

Are my files stored?
No. No files are stored.
Only a digital fingerprint is recorded in the public registry.

What is a digital fingerprint?
It is a unique technical signature of your file.
Any modification produces a different fingerprint.

Verification

How can I verify a proof?
Each proof has a unique Codex ID.
Simply enter it on the public verification page.

Do I need the original file?
No. Verification relies only on the ID and the recorded fingerprint.

Pricing

How much does a proof cost?
$3 for 1 photo (simple proof).

Legal positioning

Codex does not replace a notary or legal professional.
It acts as a complementary tool, upstream or in prevention, to formalize the existence of a document at a given time.

It is an independent technical mechanism designed to enhance traceability and transparency.

The value of a Codex

Creating a Codex means formalizing a situation.

It shows that you associate your document with an independent, timestamped and verifiable trace.

This strengthens credibility, reduces disputes and secures your exchanges.
